WHOIS Lookup

WHOIS is a protocol used to query databases that store registered domain name information. A WHOIS lookup reveals the domain's registrar, creation date, expiry date, name servers, and sometimes registrant contact details (subject to GDPR/privacy restrictions). This tool uses the RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol) standard — the modern replacement for legacy WHOIS — via the rdap.org public API.
